I think everyone agrees even in Canada when Goose hunting gets really tough Pit Blind is Ultimate Blind. Link below is 6 minute video showing how we have dug pit blind in the pass, this video was taken 1989 in Saskatchewan Canada, before that from 1984 up through 1988 we dug pit blinds with shovel and hard work.

Last 10 years or so we use either stand up or lay down blinds and of course NATURAL cover.
