WENCKHEIM SAFARIS was Founded by the late George Wenckheim (Early 1960) he was the pioneer of outfitters for hunters and fishermen in Argentina. After passing of Count George Wenckheim (December 1993) now operated by Tommy Wenckheim Safaris.
Tommy grew up in hunting and fishing business, he started helping his father at age 12 and has been at it every year since, this year will make over 45 years in the business and Tommy has hunters from all over the world. From United States Tommy has many friends that have been hunting with him for over 20 years and they still come every year either for Duck & Goose combination hunts or just Ducks or Doves. Tommy has loyal staff of people working for him. Bird boys – Guides – Scouts average 10 years working for Tommy and couple of them has been with him 15+ years - two of them Elmer and Arturo for 24 years.

Starting with person who meets groups (Gloria) on arrival Buenos Aires helping with shotgun permits and clearing customs assist with getting group together & loaded up with Travel service people that provide Transportation to hunting area. The fleet of Vehicles Tommy has and keeps updated with newer ones, 4wdr Pickup's – Several passenger Vans – Radios for communication in all Vehicles and hand held radios for all bird boys - Decoys – Up to date Digital cameras - Laptop computers provide pictures for each group and everything else needed to provide very best possible enjoyable hunting trip for each and every group.
NO MATTER WHAT OTHERS MAY SAY OR CLAIM, Tommy has no equals for providing Best decoying Goose hunting and he dose pretty good on Ducks also.
This year, 2005 made my 21st year going to Argentina hunting with Tommy for what I & many others consider the greatest Duck and Goose hunting combination in the world today.

Well it's not just the greatest decoy Goose shooting in the world or the super Duck hunting, it starts with the flight to this very busy city of Buenos Aires and seeing this beautiful Country filled with friendly people. The dinners with world famous Argentine beef, Bife de Lomo (tenderloin of the beef) or Costilla con Lomo (sirloin cut) served with varied Potatoes (papas), bread rolls and the butter they have here along with the never ending flow of Vino-Fino-Tinto or Cervezas will make for a most memorable part of your trip.
